Ohio State football leads Athletic Department's 46 NCAA violations
Ohio State athletic director Gene Smith and football coach Urban Meyer both committed NCAA violations in the last year, and they were not alone. Violations by Smith and Meyer accounted for two of 46 violations that the athletic department self-reported to the NCAA since May 30, 2011.

Wrestling. Wrestling Signs Four to National Letters of Intent
Michigan State wrestling head coach Tom Minkel has announced the additions of Travis Curley (Dewitt, Mich./St. Johns High School), Hermilio Esquivel (Orland, Calif./Orland High School), Josh Heinzer (Lake Stevens, Wash./Iowa Central Community College) and Garth Yenter (California, Ky./Campbell County) to the Spartan wrestling program beginning in the 2012-13 season.

OSU athletic director Gene Smith said there were still more violations on the horizon for OSU athletics. There are more NCAA violations on the horizon for Ohio State, and athletic director Gene Smith said he doesn’t know what the NCAA will make of them.

Six Cavaliers Named to VaSID All-State Wrestling Team
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Six Virginia wrestlers were named to the 2012 Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) All-State Wrestling Team, as announced by the organization. UVa boasted the most wrestlers of any school on the team.
