Davison native Brent Metcalf falls just shy of Olympic wrestling berth

DAVISON, MI -- The stage seemed perfectly set for Brent Metcalf. The Davison graduate, a two-time NCAA Champion at Iowa, had never lost a wrestling match at the school's Carver-Hawkeye Arena, site of last weekend's Olympic Trials , and had beaten most of the wrestlers in the 66-kilogram freestyle field (145.5 pounds).
